The Board of Directors of the Saint John Cantius foundation in Krakow expresses its gratitude to you for your interest in our initiative. Our Foundation was established to serve talented young people who desire to study, but very often struggle with basic problems of life. Emulating the example of Saint John Cantius, Professor of the Jagielonian University in Krakow, we thank God for his presence in our own lives by supporting talented university and seminary students who are in need of financial help. We offer full scholarships and other assistance to foster their spiritual and pedagogical needs.
Saint John Cantius, not only educated and formed his students but also shared his talents, time and financial resources with them and the poor. His example of Christian virtues in action and values in his daily life was a powerful testimony remembered by generations of people through the centuries.
We strive to work for the common good, in order to build a culture of love and mutual respect among people. The Gospel is the source of inspiration for the Foundation as it was for Saint John Cantius.
There are those that criticize the younger generation for so often giving in to the evil of our times. We seek the good in them and in the world around us. The focus of our efforts is to build on that good and to see it multiply and spread.
We invite you to add to this mission, by sharing your God-given time, talent, or treasure in collaboration with the Saint John Cantius Foundation to carry the common good to those in need and thus build the civilization of love. Your gift to the Foundation will contribute to change the life of these young people whom we assist by educating and forming them according to the values of the Gospel. In the future, they will be actually influencing changes in the world around us - political, social, economic, and cultural - witnessing with their family lives grounded in the values of the Commandments and of the Church. Those we help will help to change others and thus the chain of the common good will unceasingly unite people and multiply the common good.
The Board and the members of the Saint John Cantius Foundation thank you for your interest in its initiatives and, on behalf of the Foundation, kindly asks for your support through the gifts God has showered upon you, for the multiplication of the common good in others.
